listening to music through the supplements of their choice

Today, one can easily find people with ear / headphones, trapped in their own world, listening to music through the supplements of their choice. Music. It is as familiar as mobile phones, and now as portable! If it was not that important, why else did the mobile phone manufacturers think about integrating music players into their products! Therefore, who argue that music is not interesting? However, music lessons, that's another story.

During the primary and secondary education, learning music is not exactly much attention. Is but one of those "filler" items. However, for a little more artistically-inclined people, this serves as a base for its future interests, or even a way of life. And when one decides to go into music schools, one is sure who is a passion, a dedication.

It is during these formative years of music teachers to play their crucial role as future mentors musicians, even inspirations. The teaching of music is indeed a noble profession, more a vocation. Yes, it is far from the teaching of math, or science. Said items were purely academic subjects that involve a master of deep knowledge. Teaching of music, by contrast, requires both knowledge and skills ... and probably more importantly, the passion.

The teaching of music, possibly began as a way of transmitting a tradition of the community. India has in its ancient writings references to Indian classical music. The "Big Book of Music" or Musiqi al-Kitab al-Kabir was written by the Arab scholar al-Farabi in the 9th century.

In the Western world, the teaching of music may have started the church, with the cleric / monks to teach their hymns in the next line or religious. In fact, in the U.S., the first school song was created by the Reverend Thomas Symmes in 1717 in Boston, Massachusetts for "the purpose of improving the singing and reading music in the church." With the popularity of music and marketing, organized evolved teaching of music and music schools emerged successively around the world.

While the success of many musicians who graduated from these schools of music, music education does not seem to get the recognition it deserves. Therefore, an organization, the International Society for Music Education, was formed in 1953 at a conference convened by UNESCO. Its aim is "to stimulate music education as an integral part of general education." It is now considered to be "a platform of services throughout the world for music educators" of their works to be recognized. It now has affiliations with organizations of music education in different countries to promote music and teaching music to as many people as possible, if not for all.

The teaching of music has evolved over time, in line with the evolution of music. It has also changed along with changes of the times, of people. Somehow, music teachers, at all levels, are now the praise that is rightfully due. More importantly, the teaching of music is slowly but surely to win the respect, he has won. For what it is, the value of music if it can not be taught, therefore, shared.
